Ensure the property meets all mandatory standards set by the UK Government.

Arrange for an asbestos survey to be conducted by the local authority.

Supply a copy of the Land Registry document to confirm ownership of the property.

Provide buildings insurance that includes public liability coverage.

Be responsible for paying any service charges and external works, and carry out any necessary structural repairs during the lease period.
