Many families across the UK are facing incredibly challenging circumstances—whether due to the cost-of-living crisis or escaping domestic violence. These are ordinary people, just like you and me, who urgently need safe, warm, and suitable housing for themselves and their children. In times of crisis, they often turn to their local council for help. 

Unfortunately, councils are struggling to keep up with the growing demand for temporary emergency accommodation. There simply aren’t enough properties available. 

This is where Oakrise Homes steps in.

We bridge the gap between a family’s initial request for emergency housing and the council’s ability to place them in permanent, long-term accommodation. We do this by partnering with local landlords and letting their properties directly to the council for use in this vital work—providing a safe haven for those most in need.
